Pass this around so everyone has a place to watch the special by Saturday!

Hey, you guys should dry dragging the picture. No really, it will be a pleasant experience. Just click, hold, and drag it to the side and you’ll have all kinds of wonderful feels.

All I ever really want to know is how other people are making it through life—where do they put their body, hour by hour, and how do they cope inside of it.

i don’t ask you to love me always like this,
but i ask you to remember.
somewhere inside me
there’ll always be the person
i am tonight.

It’s strange that words are so inadequate. Yet, like the asthmatic struggling for breath, so the lover must struggle for words.

Go through the motions. Put on clothes every morning, smile when people greet you, laugh when others laugh, cry in the shower, eat terrible food, refuse to talk about how you feel. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. One day you’ll realize when you smile you mean it, when you laugh you’re actually amused and the shower isn’t just a place to hide your tears. Try not to fall in love with suffering. Highs and lows happen, don’t cling unnecessarily to lows. Even broken hearts heal.
The Virtual Hermit answer to “How do you endure a broken heart? Do you have any words to mend the loss?”

There was such an incredible logic to kissing, such a metal-to-magnet pull between two people that it was a wonder that they found the strength to prevent themselves from succumbing every second. Rightfully, the world should be a whirlpool of kissing into which we sank and never found the strength to rise up again.
Ann Patchett, Bel Canto
